She never caught a walleye before. I took her to a spot that's usually produced good in the past. She caught this walleye on only her third cast using a jig and a night crawler. We had to release this fish, because it was a tad under the legal size limit. A short time later she caught her first legal walleye trolling, and she ended up getting two other keepers with the jigs. She also caught whitebass, smallmouth bass and catfish. At the end of her outing, she stated, "This trip was remarkable." She also enjoyed the great scenery the area has to offer.
