There was a big school of Smallmouth in front of us and the water was literally boiling with the Smallmouth chaseing the minnows. He threw his jig tipped with gulp into the middle of the school and this very nice Smallie took the bait. He had several on, but he was not quite able to get them in the boat. He stated this is the biggest smallie he ever caught.
