The conditions definitely were not ideal for trout fishing. The sun was high, the temperature was warm, we were fishing in the middle of the day and to top it off she had never fished wearing waders before. Up the creek she went, it took a bit to get used to, but she did get used to it. And used to it she did, when she tied into this beauty on a beautiful stream in the coulee region. She ended up one fish short of a limit and let several go.
