Him and his buddy, shown in the next picture, had never been stream fishing for trout, so today they wanted to learn the basics. After giving him instructions on how to read the water and watch for fish, he went to work. He landed this 13 1/2 inch Coulee Region brown. While fishing he kept commenting on the landscape and how pretty the area is. This fish was released because it was over the 12 inch maximum size limit for this creek. He did get his limit of 9 to 11 1/2 inch eaters. We caught a nice combination of brown and brook trout.
