It isn't always the big Northerns, Walleyes, Catfish or Bass that get our attention. We couldn't help but enjoy the song this bird was giving us as it landed right next to the boat, while we were doing a little casting and jigging. I was with a fisherman who even briefly stopped fishing to enjoy it's beauty. At one point it looked like it was doing a little investigating or satisfying it's curosity as it landed on one of our fishing rods that was sticking over the side of the boat. It didn't take long before he flew back into the branch where we were able to get a quick picture of him. After singing us a short song, he flew off to parts unknown.
