Here is a happy young lady with the biggest flathead catfish she ever caught. She was fishing for walleyes, when she thought she got snagged. To her surprise, the "snag" started swimming downriver. After about a 10 minute fight, useing an ultra-light rod and four pound line, the fish was tired enough to be brought to the net. Once in the net, every boat in the area had their attention focused on us, from the celebration. There was one happy and proud lady in my boat. Notice the white knuckle grip on the fishes bottom lip, no way in the world is this fish gonna get away! The fish was caught on the Wisconsin River near Wisconsin Dells.
